Hi, I’m Tala!

I am a Palestinian yoga instructor with a passion for using yoga as a tool for mental health. My wellbeing journey began after studying law, where my career led to burnout. In my search for balance, I discovered the transformative power of yoga, meditation, and breathwork, which inspired me to share their benefits with others.

At the heart of my classes, yoga is acknowledged as a transformative movement meditation rooted in its true origins. I believe that understanding this heritage is crucial for reaping its full benefits.

My classes value and encourage the playful, kind, and loving aspects of the practice, aiming to cultivate an environment where people feel held and at one with themselves. I use yoga as a gentle tool to help people befriend their bodies, where past trauma may be stored, and create a safe space for students to reflect on their inner and outer worlds with love and ease.

Alongside group classes, I offer private sessions tailored to your individual physical and mental needs. These one-to-one sessions provide a personalised space to explore yoga, meditation, and breathwork at a pace that works for you. Together, we can focus on reducing stress, building resilience, improving mobility and strength, and developing practices that support you.

In addition to my teaching, I offer wellbeing support for activists and community organisers. I previously facilitated a support group focused on resilience and burnout prevention, and I collaborate with organisations such as The Resilience Project to develop programmes that integrate yoga, meditation, and reflective practices to support collective wellbeing and sustainable activism.
